[He says out loud while knocking on Antler's door.]

[ There are some stumbling noises as Megatron makes his way to the door and slides it open. Granted, yes, Antlers got some cover over his optics. ]

Is that my little friend? [ He gets to his knees. Reaching a hand out to touch Tailgate's head. A gentle pat. ]

It is! Sorry is that condecending?

As for my injuries. The optics damage was from the Runt Megatron. The neck damage is from Riptide. I've been having a rough time. I'm sorry, I don't think I really know how to talk to people as it turns out. I keep making everyone want to have a shot to kill me! [ He laughs. ]

Wow, you've been through the ringer.

[Though clearly Tailgate is not upset by the amount of abuse Antlers has gone though. He feels like if Riptide is beating up Antlers, than he probably deserves it.]

Don't worry, as long as you don't try to hurt me or my loved ones, I won't have any reason to hurt you either!

[With that charming thought, Tailgate reaches up and takes Megatron by the hand, and starts to gently lead him down the hallway.]

Of course, I wouldn't want to make an enemy out of you. [ He grips his hand carefully to Tailgate's. Then loosens as he's bent over letting Tailgate lead him around. ]

You are much more dangerous than your cute appearance leads one to believe. I admire that. The power to protect everything you love. [ He smiles to himself. ]

[Tailgate declares, allowing Megatron to slide out of his grip a little bit.]

So, like, why are you the way you are? You act like you've never had a normal social interaction in your life.

[ Megatron seems to tense a little with the hand letting him go, though he calms down. Simply listening for Tailgate's footsteps. ]

I don't think I have... I was built to be perfect and then no one told me what that meant. I had to trial and error that all my life.

[ Maybe its all those talks with Ratty, but... Antlers actually feel like he can admit this to another friend. ]

[Tailgate makes sure to reach up and grab him again. He wasn't sure if Antlers wanted to keep holding on or not, seeing as he has him almost bent in two.]

"Built to be perfect?" What does that mean?

[That's such a puzzling concept to Tailgate. No one is perfect, after all, not even Tailgate's beautiful and handsome love of his life Cyclonus.]
